Our pinch pot club is back, in occasion of the European Days of Arts and Crafts (ETAK)! We are hosting the pinch pot club on two consecutive days, on Friday April 10th and Saturday April 11th. Choose the day you prefer.
Come and join us for a wonderful couple of hours in our cosy studio and independently create your own unique ceramic pieces (this is not a class - there will be no instructions). Once you have created your new pieces, leave them with us for firing and glazing.
This is a lovely activity to spend with a friend or a loved one and discover the joy of pottery.
How it all works:
- Book a spot and work independently on your ceramic pieces. This is not a class! We will not give instructions. You will work at our communal workshop bench.
- You receive 1kg of clay (as a reference you can make about 2-3 bowls or 2 x mugs with this amount). In our experience from previous events, this is more than enough clay.
- If you want more clay, each additional kilo will cost 25 €, including firing & glazing.
- We will provide a free printed tutorial to creating a pinch pot, however you can also be inspired to make shapes of your own.
- You can also purchase instructions and templates for a vase, a tray or tea light holders, for a price of 15€. You will receive the printed hand-illustrated, bi-lingual (DE and EN) tutorial and template and you can keep it and take it home for future projects.
- You will be able to use the available studio tools and materials. Please be aware that we do not have wheels. We are a hand-building studio.
- You have access to your spot for 2 hours.
- After you have created your pieces, you will leave them to be carefully fired and glazed by us.
- The firing and glazing services are included in the price.
- You can choose from one of our 7 beautiful studio glazes (see last photo) for each of your pieces to be glazed in.
Who can participate in the pinch pot club?
- This pinch pot club is for everyone, beginners or experienced potters who would like to spend a couple of hours working independently with clay.
- Thank you for your understanding that our studio is open to adults (18+) only.
Further information:
- The pieces will take about 3-4 weeks to be finished and we will notify you by email when they are ready to be collected.
- Please note that we can only keep pieces 2 months after you have been notified.
Cancellation policy:
The pinch pot club spots are non-refundable (as they are services as per our refund policy) but you can receive a gift card of the same value, provided you give at least 7 days notice. Please arrive on time as the session will not be extended.
