Summer Coiling Class – Make your own Vase

Come and join us in a 2.5 hour class to learn the meditative and impressive technique of coiling. The class will begin with a demonstration from an experienced teacher before getting started on your own unique piece.
The outcome of the session is very much open to interpretation, you can create a vessel, vase, bowl or maybe something more sculptural. Let the clay guide you!
Who is this class for?
This course is suitable for beginners and those with prior experience. Thank you for your understanding that our classes are only open to adults.

Location: Kleistone Studio in Kreuzberg.

In this special edition Saturday morning class we will spend 2.5 hours together coiling clay to build beautiful forms - whether the outcome is a functional vessel, vase or bowl, or something more decorative and sculptural - is up to you.
The coiling technique is a wonderful way to make organic and unique forms, as well as being a relaxing method to work with clay.
You will also be offered engobes and texture tools to individualise and decorate your piece even more.
After the class, you will leave the pieces with us to be finished. We will take care of firing and glazing them in our beautiful glossy white studio glaze.
The pieces will take about 3 weeks (excluding the holidays) to be finished and we will notify you by email when they are ready to be collected.
Please note that we can only keep pieces 2 months after you have been notified.
Cancellation policy:
Classes are non-refundable but you can rebook to a future class, provided you give at least 7 days notice.

Classes Cancellation policies
Our classes are non-refundable. Booking a class is like buying a ticket for a concert or a movie. These are specific events bound to time and place and therefore not refundable.
You can rebook a class if you give us notice at least 7 days before the event. This means that you will be issued a voucher that you can use to book a future class.
If you let us know less than 7 days before the class starts, you will not be able to rebook the class. We are not able to make exceptions.
If we allowed for last minute cancellations we would have to significantly increase our prices to account for the risk, thus making our classes inaccessible to a lot of people. While we have waiting lists for our classes, it is very difficult to find replacements less than a week before the event (believe us, we've tried!).
Yes. You are welcome to transfer it to a friend if you can't make it. The policies above would still apply.
Our studio is for adults (for people of age 18 or above).
